No matter what you’ve been told or what you currently believe, the truth remains: God is real.
You might say, “Prove it.”
I can’t. Just like no one can definitively prove He isn’t.
No one can prove the universe was created by a Big Bang.
No one can prove humans evolved from apes.
But I know—deep in my soul—that God exists.
When I was younger, I didn’t truly believe in God.
Yes, my parents were Christians.
Yes, we prayed before meals.
Yes, my mother prayed constantly, about everything.
But none of that made me believe.
After I got married, my wife encouraged me to attend church. I went, reluctantly at first. But week after week, something began to stir inside me. A strange, heavy feeling started to build—and I eventually realized it was the weight of my sin.
One Sunday, I couldn’t carry it anymore. I stood in the pew, and I knew I had a choice: turn and walk out the door… or turn and walk to the altar.
I chose the altar.
The moment I made that decision, the Spirit of God fell on me. I can’t describe the feeling with words. It was like a thousand pounds were lifted off my shoulders. Peace—pure, indescribable peace—flooded my soul.
In that moment, my life changed.
In that moment, I knew God was real.
Can I prove it? No.
But I know.
I can only testify to the truth:
God is real. Jesus Christ is real.
He came to earth in human form.
He was tortured, crucified, and died as a sacrifice—for my sin and yours.
On the third day, He rose from the grave in victory over death.
Later, He ascended into Heaven, where He now sits at the right hand of God the Father.
Yes, Heaven is real.
So is Hell.
Satan is real too.
Jesus promised He would return. And when He does, every eye will see Him, and every knee will bow. He will judge each and every one of us.
Those who have not accepted Him as Lord and Savior will be cast into Hell—where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, a place of outer darkness, fire, and brimstone.
But those who have trusted in Him will enter Heaven—a place of perfect beauty, where there is no more pain, sorrow, or death. A place where we will dwell in the presence of God forever.
The choice is yours.
God has given you the freedom to decide your eternal destiny: Heaven or Hell.
If you’ve read this far and you haven’t yet accepted Jesus, it’s not by accident. That tug you feel in your heart? That’s God calling you.
