It is the very Word of God, given by divine inspiration. While human authors physically wrote its words, the source of Scripture is not human thought but the Holy Spirit of God. To understand the authority, power, and trustworthiness of the Bible, we must understand its divine origin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Meaning of Divine Inspiration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The phrase \u201cgiven by inspiration of God\u201d in 2 Timothy 3:16 comes from a Greek word meaning <em>God-breathed<\/em>. Written by men, yet authored by God. Guided by the Holy Spirit, preserved through history, and confirmed by Jesus Christ Himself, Scripture stands as the final authority for faith, doctrine, and life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">To handle the Word of God lightly is to misunderstand its source. To trust it fully is to stand upon unshakable truth.
