The stakes are eternal. Scripture presents promises of divine preservation and warnings of human responsibility\u2014both expressed with unmistakable weight. Salvation Is Secure in Christ\u2014But Not in Sin or Apostasy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Scripture never promises security to:<br>\u2013 those who return to sin (2 Peter 2:20\u201322),<br>\u2013 those who deny the faith (2 Timothy 2:12),<br>\u2013 those who refuse to abide (John 15:6).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Security is in Christ, not outside of Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. True Faith Produces Endurance, But Believers Are Warned Because Falling Is Possible<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The warnings of Scripture are not hypothetical\u2014they are real guardrails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">God preserves.<br>Man perseveres.<br>Both are true.<br>But God\u2019s preservation never eliminates human responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The question of <em>Once Saved Always Saved<\/em> cannot be answered by quoting one set of verses while ignoring another.<br>Scripture presents a two-sided truth:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>God is faithful to keep His people<\/strong>, and no external force can sever them from His hand.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Yet believers are repeatedly warned<\/strong> that salvation can be abandoned through unbelief, refusal to abide, and hardened apostasy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Salvation is eternally secure\u2014<strong>in Christ<\/strong>, not apart from Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The safest place is not in theological arguments, but in daily obedience, living faith, and abiding fellowship with Jesus Christ.<br>As He Himself commanded:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><em>\u201cAbide in me.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">This is the believer\u2019s security, confidence, and hope until the day of redemption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>My Personal Belief About &#8220;Once Saved, Always Saved&#8221;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">When I was saved through faith in Jesus Christ, I became a child of God, adopted into His family. I believe that once I am His child, I will always be His child. However, being His child does not exempt me from accountability. Scripture reminds us that we will all stand before God and be judged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Revelation 2:4\u20135 says:<br><em>&#8220;Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will <\/em><em><strong>remove thy candlestick out of his place<\/strong><\/em><em>, except thou repent.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">And Revelation 3:5 declares:<br><em>&#8220;He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not <\/em><em><strong>blot out his name out of the book of life<\/strong><\/em><em>, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">These verses lead me to believe that even though I belong to God, if I persist in sin and turn away from Him, there is still the sobering possibility of being judged and having my name blotted out of the Book of Life.
