\u201cFor thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother\u2019s womb.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.\u201d Psalm 139:13\u201316<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The Sanctity of Life Begins with God<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

All human life originates from God and bears His image. Genesis 1:27 declares, \u201cSo God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.\u201d<\/em> This divine image gives every human life\u2014born or unborn\u2014eternal value. To end an innocent life is to violate the sanctity of that image and to challenge the authority of the Creator who alone holds the power over life and death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From conception, a child is not a potential human being but a human being with potential. The same God who breathed life into Adam is the One who forms every child in the womb. Therefore, abortion is not merely a medical or social issue\u2014it is a spiritual assault against the creative act of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scripture Recognizes the Personhood of the Unborn<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Throughout Scripture, the unborn are treated as living persons known and purposed by God. Jeremiah 1:5 proclaims, \u201cBefore I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee.\u201d<\/em> Likewise, in Luke 1:41, the unborn John the Baptist leaped for joy in his mother\u2019s womb at the presence of the unborn Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These examples affirm that life and identity begin in the womb. God\u2019s Word never distinguishes between the moral worth of a born or unborn person. Thus, any act that intentionally destroys unborn life stands in direct opposition to the divine revelation of Scripture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abortion Violates the Commandment of God<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The sixth commandment\u2014\u201cThou shalt not kill\u201d<\/em> (Exodus 20:13)\u2014is a timeless moral law. Abortion, being the intentional taking of innocent life, violates this commandment at its core. No justification of convenience, circumstance, or human reasoning can overturn God\u2019s absolute standard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Proverbs 6:16\u201317, the Lord lists among the things He hates \u201chands that shed innocent blood.\u201d<\/em> The unborn child is the very definition of innocence\u2014defenseless, pure, and entrusted to human care. Supporting or participating in abortion, whether through direct action or passive approval, makes one complicit in the shedding of innocent blood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Deception of Modern Culture<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The world has attempted to redefine life according to convenience and choice. Yet Romans 12:2 warns believers, \u201cBe not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.\u201d<\/em> The Christian\u2019s worldview must be shaped by Scripture, not by political pressure or cultural philosophy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To support abortion under the guise of compassion or freedom is to exchange truth for a lie (Romans 1:25). The enemy of souls\u2014Satan\u2014has always sought to destroy what God creates, and abortion is one of his greatest deceptions against humanity. The Church must not be silent or neutral where God has spoken plainly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Redemption and Forgiveness for Those Who Repent<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

While abortion is a grave sin, the grace of God through Jesus Christ is greater still. Many who have participated in or supported abortion carry deep guilt and sorrow, but Christ offers full forgiveness to the repentant. 1 John 1:9 promises, \u201cIf we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Church must speak the truth about abortion, but also extend the mercy of the Gospel. God can heal the wounded heart, restore the broken, and use even the darkest past to glorify His name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conclusion<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Christians cannot support abortion because it contradicts the very foundation of God\u2019s Word: the sanctity of human life, the image of God in every person, and the moral law established by the Creator. To stand for life is to stand with God; to remain silent or supportive of abortion is to stand against Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Church must declare with boldness that life is sacred from conception to eternity,<\/em> and that Jesus Christ\u2014the Way, the Truth, and the Life\u2014is the only true answer to a world that has forgotten the fear of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.\u201d \u2014 Deuteronomy 30:19<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
