Prominent cities included Jericho, Megiddo, Hazor, Sidon, and Tyre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Archaeological evidence and ancient texts (including Egyptian records and the Ugaritic tablets) show that the Canaanites had a rich culture with advances in architecture, trade, and writing<\/strong>.
