When will be your last chance?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nThe Uncertainty of Life<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The Bible declares that life is brief:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.\u201d \u2014 James 4:14 (KJV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Life is a vapor. It is here, and then it is gone. No one schedules their death. No one expects tragedy. Yet accidents, sudden illness, and unexpected events fill hospitals and cemeteries every single day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The rich man in Luke 12 said, \u201cSoul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years.\u201d But God answered him, \u201cThou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He thought he had years. He had hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You may assume you have time. Scripture says you do not know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There Is No Salvation After Death<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The Bible is clear that eternity is fixed once life ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.\u201d \u2014 Hebrews 9:27 (KJV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is no second chance beyond the grave. No repentance in Hell. No crossing over from torment into glory. The rich man in Luke 16 begged for relief, but a \u201cgreat gulf\u201d was fixed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If a person has not accepted Christ before death, there is no hope of escaping eternity in Hell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is not harshness. This is truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Lord Jesus Christ spoke more about Hell than anyone else in Scripture. He described it as a place of fire, torment, and outer darkness. He warned because He loves. He died so no one would have to go there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But His offer must be received in this life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Deception of \u201cLater\u201d<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
One of Satan\u2019s greatest lies is the word later<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u201cI will think about it.\u201d
\u201cI will get saved someday.\u201d
\u201cI will settle this before I die.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But what if death comes suddenly? What if there is no hospital bed? No final prayer? No whispered confession?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Every day people die unexpectedly. They had plans. They had intentions. But intention is not salvation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Felix trembled under Paul\u2019s preaching in Acts 24. He felt conviction. Yet he said, \u201cGo thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is no record that convenient season ever came.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Conviction delayed becomes conviction silenced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Tugging in Your Heart<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
If you feel a stirring within you\u2014an uneasiness, a drawing, a conviction\u2014that is not chance. That is the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jesus said in John 6:44, \u201cNo man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When you sense that pull, that is God\u2019s mercy reaching toward you. It is not emotional pressure. It is divine invitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But Scripture also warns that the Spirit will not always strive with man (Genesis 6:3). The heart can become hardened. The voice can grow faint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This may be your moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This may be your opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This may be your last chance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Urgency of Today<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The Bible never says, \u201cTomorrow is the day of salvation.\u201d It says, \u201cNow.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now\u2014while your heart is tender.
Now\u2014while conviction is clear.
Now\u2014while breath fills your lungs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You are not promised another sermon.
You are not promised another invitation.
You are not promised another sunrise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Eternity hangs in the balance of a single decision: What will you do with Jesus Christ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He has already done the work. On the cross He paid the full price for sin. He rose again in victory. Salvation is not earned. It is received through repentance and faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But it must be received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Conclusion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Every day thousands enter eternity without warning. Some assumed they would have one final opportunity. They did not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you have not trusted Christ, you are living on borrowed time. You may have years left\u2014or you may have minutes. Only God knows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you feel that tugging in your heart, do not resist it. That is the Holy Spirit calling you. This is not an accident. This is mercy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Do not gamble your soul on tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today is your opportunity.
Today is your invitation.
Today may be your last chance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
