The Lord’s Supper, also called Communion, is a special time when Christians remember Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. During this meal, we eat bread and drink wine (or grape juice) as symbols of His body and blood. Jesus told His followers to do this in remembrance of Him: “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me” (1 Corinthians 11:24, NLT). It’s a moment to reflect, give thanks, and renew our faith, recognizing that Christ’s death brings forgiveness and life.
